Peter Salett's Blue Palace

NOW, in 2022 - against all odds and expectations I've just finished my most accessible record - filled with 80's keyboard sounds, blissed out electric guitars, layers of harmonies and super catchy tunes. Jeff Hill played bass and mixed, and Bill Dobrow added beats and drums. The band name is Blue Palace and the record title is together under the sun.

Bird Streets

Brooklyn artist John Brodeur conceived Bird Streets as his return to a band format after a lengthy stint as a solo artist. The new point of view proved to be artistically freeing, moving Brodeur to officially adopt the moniker as his nom de guerre with the release of a self-titled 2018 LP. That album, produced by indie-pop hero Jason Falkner, was a refreshing blast of classic-yet-modern melodic rock that received accolades from PopMatters (“a rock solid power-pop gem”) and NPR Music, which named Bird Streets a Slingshot Artist alongside then-emerging talents like Phoebe Bridgers and The Beths.

For Lagoon, his second album under the Bird Streets name, Brodeur widely expanded on the project’s collaborative foundation, enlisting production by Pat Sansone (Wilco) and Michael Lockwood (Fiona Apple), plus guest appearances from Ed Harcourt, Aimee Mann, John Davis (Superdrag), and Big Star's Jody Stephens. Recorded across three years in Tennessee and New York and eventually California, these 12 songs are both epic and intimate, often simultaneously–as honest and vulnerable as they are lush and melodic. With mixing by Grammy winner Michael Brauer (Coldplay) and mastering by Grammy nominee Pete Lyman (Chris Stapleton), Lagoon has been called "sublime" (Coachella Valley Weekly), "luxurious and literate" (Rock & Roll Truth), and "an emotional tour de force" (Glide). It's a major statement from an artist who has been hailed for his evocative storytelling and keen attention to craft.

A native of upstate New York, John Brodeur began his recording career with 2000’s Tiger Pop, and prior to Bird Streets he released two more solo albums, in addition to EPs with The Suggestions and Maggie Mayday. He has toured with Juliana Hatfield, They Might Be Giants, Alana Davis, and Fountains of Wayne; and performed at the 30A Songwriters Festival, SXSW, and CMJ Music Marathon.

Sky White Tiger

Blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, Louis Schwadron (former Polyphonic Spree, Rufus Wainwright) took matters into his own paws, birthing the psych-soul pop sound world of SKY WHITE TIGER. After a decade of writing, recording, or performing as multi-instrumentalist with Radiohead, David Bowie, Elton John, Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, The National, St. Vincent, and a batch of support tours with Rufus Wainwright, Alberta Cross, Duncan Sheik and Tempesst, Schwadron has completed a debut LP Electra, an EP Child of Fire, composed and produced a soundtrack for an immersive animation experience Particle Ink:Speed of Dark (Running at The Luxor in Las Vegas from April), has teamed up with Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear to co-produce his most recently released LP, Invisible City. SWT's latest single "Falling Gold'' returns to his roots, inviting the elements of hawthorn branch'd folk into his cosmic vernacular. With a blend of acoustic, electronic and a touch of the cinematic, Sky White Tiger transforms any space into the Tiger Realm of the endless imagination. Come Meowt and Play…
