Emily Duff

Called “the perfectly cool combo of Steve Earle meets Patti Smith,” Emily was born and raised in NYC & started playing out in the 80’s.  She was the original bass player for Asleep Standing (later to become Presidents of the United States of America) and replaced Jeff Buckley in 1996 as lead singer of Gary Lucas’ Gods & Monsters.  In 1998 Emily started Eudora and had the good fortune to play on the same stage with amazing bands like Whiskeytown, The Backsliders, The Silos, Kevin Salem, Robert Earle Keen, Robbie Fulks and even Bob Dylan & Paul Simon at Jones Beach Theater in 1999 as part of the Levi’s 2nd Stage.  Emily’s songs will be featured in the upcoming film, “Looking for the Jackalope” by award winning director, Karl Shefelman and have also been heard in Thinkfilm’s “Noise” as well as various TV and radio commercials.  A classic American Punk, EMILY DUFF writes, records and performs original music that hangs with your favorite tunes and feels right at home in any record collection. The Emily Duff Band is Emily Duff on rhythm guitar & lead vocals, Rick Wagner (the db’s) on bass & vocals and Scott Aldrich (American Ambulance) on lead guitar & vocals.
