Ancient Future, is a contemplative and uplifting soundtrack through themes of time, consciousness, imagination, hope, memory, and love--with influences including magical realism, science fiction, gospel, transcendentalism, and the natural and supernatural worlds.
Since 2009, Thayer has released five LPs and one art book, touring constantly, headlining tours in the US/Europe, and her songs have been featured on television and museums. In addition to her own band, she is a well known collaborator with numerous acts as a session musician, composer for short films, documentaries, and installations.
