Lavender Sky is the diy lofi project of Luke Hoffman joined by his friend Brian Quickstad on drums. Over 5 years of playing shows, he has released 5 albums, two live albums, and two EP's. His inspiration comes from garage acts like The Velvet Underground, The Stooges, and Sonic Youth. Encompassing the poetry he has written, coupled with dark reverb soaked guitar riffs, and the drum samples from 80s Casio keyboards, he creates a lofi soundscape full of atmospheric tones recorded through gritty analog tape equipment in his basement.
