Skye Verbs
Skye Verbs
For Connecticut-born RnB, Trap Soul artist Skye Verbs it all began with a deep soul and a decorative piano on display in her parents living room. Skye later professionally developed her passion for music while taking classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts — in tandem with her studies at Northeastern University.

“Hip hop has such a negative connotation but was meant to create positivity. I learned a lot in school, but one thing that really stuck was what hip hop was created for: higher infinite power healing our people,” she says. “I want to use my music to heal people, like hip-hop was intended to do. I want to bring that message to RnB and trap soul as well – bring real messages, real depth, real vibes.”

Skye recently released her debut EP, Soul Food Eye Candy which landed her at #73 on the iTunes US R&B chart, #1 on the iTunes R&B chart in Taiwan and #16 iTunes Main chart in Taiwan. The EP was well-received by press and got placement on the “New Releases” page of Spotify and Starbucks international R&B playlist. It also landed Skye a spot on the Tidal Rising page, as well as a Shazam in-office performance.

She says of the release and her budding career, “I’ve been building my foundation for my music and my career for over a decade, this EP is my foundation. In a world currently full of instant gratification, hopefully, it will encourage others to build a foundation of their own.”

Soul Food Eye Candy is more than an EP title for Skye, rather a pillar of her artistry. It’s means by which she chooses to build her career, spread her message and live her life: with purpose and substance. She states, “SFEC in its simplest form means work on your physical appearance as much as you chose to, but not without working on your intelligence, depth, and substance first.” She continues, “To me, SFEC has become more than how I describe myself and the way I live my life…it’s become a movement. Be valuable and value others. External beauty will only have longevity if you possess internal beauty. Be as much eye candy as you want to be — but not without being soul food first.
Danté LaBelle
Danté LaBelle
"Life’s trials, tests, and tribulations could not prevent Jamaican-American R&B artist from striving to the top to achieve all of his goals he set forth ahead of his musically.

Born and raised to a large family in Uniondale, New York, Dante LaBelle began his singing career at the age of ten after receiving his inspiration from a Michael Jackson concert he watched on television. This newfound love of music and dance moves led LaBelle to use a computer system at school called GarageBand in order to create his own unique beats which he then sang over.

At the age of eleven, Dante performed in front of large crowds when he joined the church choir, and soon enough, the choir’s leader saw his potential and decided to give him leads and solos. After seeing positivity come forth through his singing, LaBelle began writing and performing his own original music at church, further testing his capabilities.

Dante’s purpose in music is to use it as his personal meditation and medication, especially after the death of his personal inspiration and motivator, his grandmother, while pursuing his GED. Looking provide the same therapeutic feeling for others, LaBelle is currently recording and building himself as an artist. For more information on Dante LaBelle, visit his Instagram @DanteLaBelle."

Currently, ROME RENA$ANCE is working on his new project set to drop in 2019 under his new label, Aces Nation."
