Skye Verbs
Skye Verbs
For Connecticut-born RnB, Trap Soul artist Skye Verbs it all began with a deep soul and a decorative piano on display in her parents living room. Skye later professionally developed her passion for music while taking classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts — in tandem with her studies at Northeastern University.

“Hip hop has such a negative connotation but was meant to create positivity. I learned a lot in school, but one thing that really stuck was what hip hop was created for: higher infinite power healing our people,” she says. “I want to use my music to heal people, like hip-hop was intended to do. I want to bring that message to RnB and trap soul as well – bring real messages, real depth, real vibes.”

Skye recently released her debut EP, Soul Food Eye Candy which landed her at #73 on the iTunes US R&B chart, #1 on the iTunes R&B chart in Taiwan and #16 iTunes Main chart in Taiwan. The EP was well-received by press and got placement on the “New Releases” page of Spotify and Starbucks international R&B playlist. It also landed Skye a spot on the Tidal Rising page, as well as a Shazam in-office performance.

She says of the release and her budding career, “I’ve been building my foundation for my music and my career for over a decade, this EP is my foundation. In a world currently full of instant gratification, hopefully, it will encourage others to build a foundation of their own.”

Soul Food Eye Candy is more than an EP title for Skye, rather a pillar of her artistry. It’s means by which she chooses to build her career, spread her message and live her life: with purpose and substance. She states, “SFEC in its simplest form means work on your physical appearance as much as you chose to, but not without working on your intelligence, depth, and substance first.” She continues, “To me, SFEC has become more than how I describe myself and the way I live my life…it’s become a movement. Be valuable and value others. External beauty will only have longevity if you possess internal beauty. Be as much eye candy as you want to be — but not without being soul food first.
Tsunami City
Tsunami City
"Brooklyn-born and Queens-raised artist, Tsunami City, has always found music to be a significant part of his upbringing. Hailing from Southside Jamaica Queens, he was intrigued by Hardcore Rap, Pop and even the smooth sounds of Ed Lover, all of which he enjoyed growing up, influenced by with his uncles and grandparents.

“I was raised around the culture - it was just all around me,” says Tsunami City. “My goal is to be one of the biggest artists in NYC and to really make a name for myself. My sound is unique but it is also something you can relate to. It’s not something you would want to miss.”

His last project, “Life in The City: A Gamble,” released in 2010 precedes Tsunami City’s new project releasing in early 2019. His singles, “Every Day” and “Late Night,” showcase raw east coast rap with wavy New York vibes – the perfect description of the sounds we expect to hear from Aces Nation’s own Tsunami City!"
ROME RENA$ANCE is a product of the rap scenes of New York and Providence. Inspired by his upbringing in The Bronx and coming from Mexican and Puerto Rican descent, he channeled his experiences and growth into music he considers positive and direct, yet honest and true to his story.

His wide range of styles, from his lyricism to delivery, puts his music in categories anywhere from cypher style street rap to the popular appeal of radio hip-hop.

His last project, “Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day” was featured in Respect Magazine and under his previous stage name “Rome.” As a wrestling enthusiast growing up, one of his dreams materialized when his idol, “Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase of the WWE, allowed him to use a clip of a past interview as a skit followed by a studio track called “Ted DiBiase” on his debut EP.

Currently, ROME RENA$ANCE is working on his new project set to drop in 2019 under his new label, Aces Nation."

"Life’s trials, tests, and tribulations could not prevent Jamaican-American R&B artist from striving to the top to achieve all of his goals he set forth ahead of his musically.

Born and raised to a large family in Uniondale, New York, Dante LaBelle began his singing career at the age of ten after receiving his inspiration from a Michael Jackson concert he watched on television. At the age of eleven, Dante performed in front of large crowds when he joined the church choir, and soon enough, the choir’s leader saw his potential and decided to give him leads and solos. After seeing positivity come forth through his singing, LaBelle began writing and performing his own original music at church, further testing his capabilities.

Dante’s purpose in music is to use it as his personal meditation and medication, especially after the death of his personal inspiration and motivator, his grandmother, while pursuing his GED.
