J-MUSIC Ensemble
"The J-MUSIC Ensemble is an NYC-based, jazz-rooted instrumental band that is devoted to bringing new perspectives to Japanese music. Formed by Grammy-nominated saxophonist Patrick Bartley while attending the Manhattan School of Music, the J-MUSIC Ensemble was conceived as a vehicle to express his love for Japanese pop, video game, and anime soundtracks, with a dream of fusing them and his love for jazz together into a new groundbreaking realization of music. That dream now a reality, the J-MUSIC Ensemble has been featured at anime conventions, Japanese culture festivals, and on international television, putting on captivating and innovative performances wherever possible. Their fan base reaches around the world, with a growing YouTube channel that features their most popular covers from series and artists like Perfume, Utada Hikaru, Cowboy Bebop, and Persona 5.

The J-MUSIC Ensemble is a growing project that serves as the spearhead and pioneering force for the ""J-MUSIC Alliance"" - the idea of linking together Japanese music fans around the world by providing opportunities for both musicians and audiences to learn about Japanese culture through the world of music, as well as opportunities to perform and produce Japanese music."
