Dan Santos
Dan Santos
Dan Santos is a New York City based singer/songwriter, whose musical stylings are grounded by an overall acoustic guitar sound that incorporates the catchiness of pop punk, the melancholy of folk and the energy of hip hop, sometimes all at once. His songs are built on personal storytelling lyrics, versatile guitar playing and a knack for cross-genre music making.

In 2018, Santos was chosen as one of 24 artists out of over 350 applicants to perform in New York State’s Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Grassy Hill Showcase and was also the only artist 18/under selected to be a part of the showcase. Originally from Massachusetts, he began playing in bands and as a solo act around his Western Mass home in high school and soon after began recording original songs. His first release, the EP Cyan Blue debuted in early 2017, followed a year later by his first full-length effort, Sandantos., recorded with hard rock songwriter Kyle Germain. His work on these releases allowed for a cultivation of acoustic music that draws on the work of influences as varied as The RZA, blink-182 and Passenger.

His latest material is displayed on his recent full-length release, Hey Listen! Produced by friend Ray Davis and Santos, who also played the majority of the instruments on the album, Hey Listen! serves to showcase his cross-genre influence which, paired with wistful and introspective lyrics, combine to create a sound that is at once subtle and accessible.

Santos performs regularly at open stages and mics around the New York City area, from The Bitter End in Greenwich Village to stages on the Upper West Side and in Williamsburg. He is currently recording new material, to be released in early 2019.
Leon Majcen
Leon Majcen
Leon Majcen is a folk-rock singer/songwriter currently based in New York City with diverse influences that span folk, blues and country as well as alternative rock. His distinctive vocal tone, dynamic guitar playing, and a lyrical depth beyond his years deliver fresh appeal with an energetic twist to the Folk/Americana scene.

Born in Prague in 1999 to Bosnian immigrants who moved to the U.S. when he was two years old, Leon was raised near the sandy beaches of Clearwater, FL. His early experiments in songwriting came following the gift of his first guitar at the age of nine and were inspired by the laid-back atmosphere of his hometown paradise.

His exposure to live music as well as classical, folk, and rock genres throughout his childhood continued to shape his style which is now largely influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Johnny Cash, as well as the writings of Charles Bukowski. He quickly developed a love for songwriting nurtured by a music-loving family, and started playing open mic nights at local coffee shops. As he developed his artistry, he began to play in front of larger audiences at notable Tampa Bay venues like Straz Center and Raymond James Stadium.

After his first single, “Love and Misery”, was released in 2016, it went into rotation on SiriusXM’s The Coffee House channel and quickly racked up over 300,000 plays on Spotify, fueling the release of the “Love & Misery” EP in 2017. Leon continued working in the studio on new material that year while performing with his band throughout Tampa Bay and surrounding areas. He completed a debut tour across the Midwest released his first length album, NUMB, in the summer of 2018.
