Wylder
Wylder
Wylder writes rhythmic, haunting and lyrically-driven indie-folk with a penchant for strange, foreboding storytelling about family and loss.

First formed in Virginia by singer/guitarist Will McCarry, the group quickly grew to include Lonnie Southall (guitar/mandolin), Mike Pingley (drums), and Jackson Wright (bass/piano). Wylder’s unique blend of indie-rock and chamber-folk combines the spirit of alternative rock giants like Arcade Fire and The Shins with the intimate, harmony-laden sounds of Fleet Foxes and Radical Face.

Their debut album, Rain and Laura, was released in April of 2016, and was met with enthusiastic reviews from fans and critics alike. They are currently in the midst of recording their next full-length album.
Bad Business
Bad Business
Bad Business was born in New York, NY by Alex Vans, Jay Troop, and Floris Beore. The trio is primarily influenced by soft rock staples like Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, and The Doobie Brothers. Their smooth sound transports listeners to another place, to summer breezes and early morning champagne. This is the music your Mom and Dad partied to, back when they were still single. Bad Business is a throwback. They're not trying to be cool. They're just trying to have a good time.
Lowlight
Lowlight
Lowlight is a female-fronted, synth-drenched indie band at the forefront of one of America’s most resurgent music scenes. Called “The hardest working and most fiercely loyal band in NJ,” Lowlight is thriving in the musical renaissance of Asbury Park, New Jersey and beyond. Fans of Sharon Van Etten, The National, and Timber Timbre will find a familiar mix of rock, Americana, and synth-pop that focuses on song craft. Lowlight has toured with The Pretenders and has opened for other national acts such as Twin Peaks, Lucius, and Jon Langford (Mekons). They released and EP and a live album in 2018, and are poised to release their second LP in spring of 2019.
Cabel & the Strings
Cabel & the Strings
Originally from Baltimore, Cabel & the Strings is an acoustic singer-songwriter based in NYC who's gaining notoriety for his original music and tasteful acoustic covers of pop songs. His unique voice will catch your ear as he blends together sounds with hints of musical influences from Mumford & Sons, The Tallest Man on Earth, Bruce Springsteen, Jack Johnson, and many others.

Listen to Cabel's self-recorded/self-produced EP on Spotify and stay tuned his much anticipated debut album: ""The Book of Cabel"" (dropping summer 2019).

Don't miss your chance to see the Charm City Kid in action and show your support for local aspiring NYC musicians!
