James Labrosse
James Labrosse
James Labrosse was 18 when he moved to Spain to learn Flamenco. He’s now based in New York City and performs world music with his ensemble to audiences across the North East.

James was born in a Spanish-speaking neighborhood in south Florida. He grew up in a French Canadian home and is fluent in French and Spanish. He has been playing music since he was 13 and graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston with a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production.

James says his solo and band performances take audiences on “a musical journey across the world” and his group, the James Labrosse Collective, creates a “cultural mélange of sounds.”
Bobby Wesley
Bobby Wesley
An accomplished guitarist from Detroit, MI, Robert Wesley is a 2013 graduate of Berklee College of Music who received his degree in professional music. Prior to attending Berklee, Wesley had the honor of being featured with jazz violinist Regina Carter at the Detroit Montreux Jazz Festival.

While at Berklee, Wesley had the honor of being a part of the music ensemble and accompaniment for Lalah Hathaway at the Berklee Performance Center and during the Berklee Beantown Jazz Festival. He was the guitarist for the band Columbus, playing funk and soul, from 2009–2012. Columbus quickly took Berklee and the Boston area by storm as entertainment during freshman orientation at Wellesley College and at popular area venues such as the Middle East Corner in Cambridge and Revolution Rock Bar in the North End.

As a member of that band, Wesley was a proud recipient of the Berklee Urban Service Award for his participation in a clinic for the Boys and Girls Club in Allston. In 2011, he became the lead guitarist for Endangered Speeches, playing reggae and hip-hop. Another Berklee and Boston area favorite, Endangered Speeches (The City Is Rough; Dem Borders Will Fall) has been recognized by The Boston Globe, has been the headliner for the Bay Jam Music Festival in Islamorada, FL, and was featured on Live Music Week in March of 2013 on WERS 88.9.

As founder of the Bobby Wesley Trio, Wesley is looking forward to sharing his musical gift and making a lasting impression on the music industry.
