On The Sun
On The Sun
On The Sun crafts sleek and modern groove music steeped in classic and contemporary soul, funk, Americana, jazz, and psychedelia. Since its inception, On The Sun has issued a debut LP; a vibrant version of Leonard Cohen’s "Bird On A Wire”; and the standalone single, “She Gets Around,” an irresistible slice of dancefloor bliss that extols the virtues of polyamory. On March 2nd, 2018 On The Sun released Gratuity Not Included (Space Tiger Music), a transitional where-we-have-been/where-we-are-going album compiled of material recorded over the span of several years.

After a successful album release party in NYC, this simmering soul juggernaut has completed the first of several national tours it has planned for 2018 in support of its new album. The recent trek found the band playing alongside artists such as Lisa Loeb, Robert Randolph, Michael Franti and many more onboard the 4-day floating music festival cruise Sail Across The Sun. They also played a string of intimate Sofar Sounds shows in the midwest and east coast and made some special appearances in Austin, Texas at SXSW and Red Gorilla Music Festival.

Laurel & The Love-In
Laurel & The Love-In
Laurel & the Love-In came together piece by piece, soldiering on until they found each other in Nashville in 2015. The common love of early rock and roll are what brought them together, but it’s their wide array of influences that help them to stand out. Their fusion of raw blues, rock and roll guitar solos, and 1960s girl-group inspired harmonies help them create a sound that is entirely their own. The band consists of lead singer and pianist Laurel Sorenson, Krista Hess on guitar, background vocalist Veronica Selby, drummer Michael Rasile, and keyboardist Sarah Bernstein.
