Walter Lure (Johnny Thunders and The Heartbreakers)

If you've never lived in NY, you might not be that hip to the WALDOS, but just fifteen or so years ago, they were one of the most entertaining and authentic in-person rocknroll bands on the planet. This aging flash-city-rebel can still vividly recall when a Waldos performance was a big event, something to look forward to, when all the Babylonian cognoscenti were packed sardine tight with bozo-red lips abuzz with talk of Johnny sightings (shooting up in the girls restroom) and whether or not Thunders or Keef or somebody were supposed to show up later. It used to be fun.
Lenny Kaye (Patti Smith Group)

The creators of Lulu Lewis are Dylan Hundley and Pablo Martin. They bring forth a multilayered approach to their music and visual art. Post punk, soul, psychedelia, garage and experimental film are the most easily identifiable markers as to their overall style and sound.

The Ritualists

"The Ritualists is NYC-based dark psychedelia. Fronted by lyricist and multi-instrumentalist, Christian Dryden, the group's fusion of classic glam rock, post punk and modern Brit-pop has raised more than a few eyebrows, earning them comparisons to legends such as David Bowie, Echo and The Bunnymen and The Verve, and the praise of Sex Pistols founder, Glen Matlock.
The Ritualists' live show combines aspects of traditional rawk theatricality and classical surrealism. They have awed audiences up and down the east coast, from The Highline Ballroom, NYC to The Masquerade in Atlanta. They were recently one of only 25 other artists chosen to participate in the All About Music festival in Nashville, TN. They have played alongside notable artists such as Lady GaGa, The Fiery Furnaces, Slinky Vagabond, and Spindrift. They have performed live for 107.7 WACC in Connecticut and 90.3FM WMSC Radio in Montclair, NJ. The Ritualists are also featured regularly on 107.1 FM, ""The Peak"" and 93.30 FM in Argentina."

The Skullers

The Skullers play a modern blend of rock fused with blues based grooves. Frontman Jack Skuller’s songwriting and musicianship was recognized by the Songwriters Hall of Fame who awarded him the 2014 Holly Prize in tribute to the legacy of Buddy Holly. PopMatters said "Meet the Skullers, comes with a fiery, bluesy sentiment that feels like an assemblage of music well beyond their years." The Skullers latest single is a cover of punk legend Richard Hell’s “I’m Your Man” and benefits the non-profit organization Career Gear that helps men in need.
