I Am The Polish Army
I Am The Polish Army
From the privacy of a dorm room in 2005 to the streets of Brooklyn in 2016, I Am The Polish Army has come a long way since singer-guitarist Emma DeCorsey first considered the strength of her voice and the purpose behind the music floating around in her head. Between those early days trying to understand what I Am The Polish Army could be and the recent months in which the band finished their forthcoming album, DeCorsey had her heart crushed by several fellow musicians, her home studio equipment was stolen, she scraped her original thoughts for her first full-length and subsequently rewrote the bulk of the material. She also befriended two musicians (bassist Turner Stough and drummer Eric Kuby) who would forever alter the trajectory of her life.
North By North
North By North
While Chicago will always be home, North by North has set out on the life-adventure of The Never-ending Tour--performing 250+ shows in 2017 alone. Along the way, North by North have had the fantastic opportunity to share the stage with Eagles of Death Metal, Tegan & Sara, Sheer Mag, Nikki Lane & Iamdynamite.

Rock 'n' roll road-warriors North by North wear their midwestern charm on their sleeve. All artwork is beautifully designed by the band to compliment their heavily textured blend of '70s psychedelia and lo-fi pop-infused garage rock. Much of the work helps guide listeners through narratives and secrets buried in their music.

Their latest release, Last Days of Magic, is a Stephen King-inspired, femme-fatale-filled concept album that investigates the space where science-fiction and mysticism meet modern society.
Castle Black
Castle Black
"Castle Black is a Brooklyn-based rock trio, bringing a powerful and thunderous sound, full of hard-hitting jams, never sacrificing the hook. Described as drawing from punk, post-punk, grunge, alternative and new wave, Castle Black refuses to be pinned down to a genre. Each song careens through an almost stream of consciousness depiction of life stories, social anthems and raw emotions. Gritty female vocals, delicate back-up adornments, roaring drums, canny bass and guitar-forward hooks collide, staying in your head for days on end.

They have been described as “the kind of band you want to catch on the way up” (New York Music Daily), whose “sound is an inventive and stimulating mixture of genres,” making “Castle Black’s style one of a kind.” (Indie Rock Café), Castle Black is “capturing the NY sound with a subdued, crunchy Garage-band sound with a slight L-7-esque edge to their own concoction.” (Musically Fresh)"
