Amira B
Amira B
"Amira spent nearly half of 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, writing and performing in top venues including Ril’s, The Bee @ Publika, and No Black Tie.

Since coming back to her hometown of New York City, she has reconnected with several incredibly talented old friends from LaGuardia High School, the ""Fame"" school. Now backed by a sharp band, Amira B is in top form singing up a storm of her powerful, original Soul and R&B, with a little Pop thrown in for fun.

Amira’s return to NY also comes after overcoming vocal issues, which forced her to stop singing for more than a year when she was studying at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music focusing in Bruce Hornsby's Creative American Music Program. Fortunately, her voice is better than ever now and she’s writing songs which will leave you humming and with a smile on your face. Amira's debut album ""Defined"" was released on June 16th, 2017 and is available everywhere.

"DEVIN BEWS; Fuggin Elephant Set
Seattle jazz drummer, Devin Bews, started the Fuggin Elephant Set after 5 years of experimenting in the electronic world with attempts to bridge electronics and improvisation. With a seemingly infinite number of ways to use a computer Bews applies limitations that have slowly formed a unique way to compose, perform, and consider music. Equipped with a midi controller, kick, snare, and hats, Bews produces beat music through high quality samples, improvisation and jazz accompaniment in a live setting. Having control over the drum kit with one hand and the midi controller with the other, Bews’ music supplies a certain bizarre synchronicity that can only be experienced live. Given that the basic foundation of the music is covered by simultaneous playing of midi and drums, he invites accomplished instrumentalists and vocalist to perform over his production. Simplicity within limitations of this set-up yield spacious beats, tight syncopation, and ear candy productions designed to groove and sound GOOD."
