This event is 21 and over

Shattered is a brand new rock ’n’ roll party every Friday at The Bowery Electric (327 Bowery, NYC). It’s a night to bring all the tribes together, dressed up and messed up, for decadence and debauchery on the dance floor.

DJ Miss guy is at the helm of the party. Miss Guy is best known as the lead singer of Toilet Boys, as “a pioneer in the DJ world” (Marc Spitz/Spin), and as a cutting-edge solo artist. Born in Southern California, Miss Guy grew up in the Rock scene of New York City with mentors including Deborah Harry and Boy George. As a DJ, Miss Guy took New York by storm at the legendary party, SqueezeBox! As the leading New York City rock DJ, he has spun in booths all over the world from Tokyo to Milan to London.

The party launches June 9 th with special guest band L.A. Witch. With echoes of late 1960s Los Angeles – a time of “innocence, beauty, and opportunity, with an underbelly of lawlessness and depravity” – the band’s music has been compared to the likes of Black Sabbath, Velvet Underground, and The Gun Club. Opening night also features DJ Jesse Malin (D Generation), DJ Acacia and celebrates Richard Bacchus (D Generation) and Miss Guy’s birthdays.

The party begins at 10pm and rocks til 4am. The music encompasses your favorite rock ’n’ roll songs. Get ready to go all night long!
Them Fangs
Them Fangs
Them Fangs is a Brooklyn rock trio born in the summer of '17. Their sound could best be described after listening to their music. They sing and play ideas that explore their own mortality, worth, loss, and lust.
The FM’s, (femmes, female to males, f**k me sillies) androgynous analog goth menacing hymns on the future zeitgeist. Evoking a contemporary nihilist take on 1970’s glam antics. Condoms are given away from the stage to encourage folks to stop overpopulating the planet. At times everyone tries to twerk. The FMs simply want to save the world without being dicks about it.
"On “Good Question,” the opening track of Deth Rok’s 2013 debut album Us & Them, Aaron Havill aka DethRok gets right to the point. Over a slow, steady beat and layered keyboard lines -- one low and warbled, one like a chiming church organ -- he inserts an apocalyptic snippet of a preacher's grim speech : “This is the time of the harvest. This is the time spoken of which is called the end of the world, and I am glad of it.” The track continues with more layered keyboard lines and near-monotone, vocoder-treated vocals. “Should we be saved from oblivion after what we’ve done?” Havill asks in the chorus, while synthesizer patterns dance and weave derisively around him in the ultimate anti-dance music display.
Equal parts nihilistic rock, sedated hip-hop, self-defeated goth and existential singer/songwriter folk music, Deth Rok is a bleak slap in the face to whatever passes for transgressive music
these days.
A skilled and experienced
programmer, engineer and producer who has worked at some of New York & New Orleans’ premier studios with legends like Ric Ocasek,
Faith No More and Jay-Z, and later at 13th Planet Studios with Al Jourgensen and Ministry, Havill has developed the songwriting and
musicianship to match his unsettling sonic vision.
""These are the sounds I hear in my head,"" states Havill regarding his compositions. “I just try to capture what I'd want to hear."" The claustrophobia, desperation and simmering rage comes from years of physical isolation, outsider status and depression that Havill endured as a social misfit who found little comfort in the rules of mainstream society. After parting ways with Ministry during the dissolution of 13th Planet in 2014, which Havill describes as ""a long, toxic story,"" he continues to release new music on his own label GraveStone Records."
O Mer
O Mer
Emerging from the Tel Aviv underground, now Brooklyn based, O Mer is a multi genre composer. Filling the role of singer, guitarist, beat maker and producer, O Mer's music is distinctly and uniquely his own.
The Goodnight Darlings
The Goodnight Darlings
A Power duo-- Post-Punk, Pop, Noise Pop, Art, Dub, Dance Rock.

"A Modern Day Version of Blondie"--Record Journal

Sounds like Karen O and Robert Smith falling in love dancing to a Timbaland beat.
Their sound/style finds its home somewhere between where The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Santigold and early Blondie might hang out.

They are erudite and pop, sinister and passionate. Hauntingly danceable.

Kat Auster, (Juilliard Grad, SONY/EMI songwriter, MTV's Rockstar coach on "Made"), fronts The Goodnight Darlings.

"Rightly acclaimed for their explosive live show; well crafted pop rock with attitude and substance. Singer Katarina Auster has the pinup gleam of Blondie.."- Kings of A&R "..Sounds like Gwen Stefani's evil twin." -The Village Voice.

Wilson brings the boom! with his powerful beats and luscious guitars.

"Wilson is the South American 'Edge'"- Jerry Wonda (producer Fugees, U2, Justin Bieber)

Wilson recorded & played arena shows with grammy award-winning artist/producer Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill & Pras as the Fugees, who nicknamed him "the punk" and "the scientist" because of his frenetic energy and impressive array of 13 guitar pedals. Wilson is also session guitarist for artists such as Mary J. Blige, DMC, Lordz of Brooklyn, and Patti La Belle.

Their most recent EP, "All I Ever Wanted" was recorded at Brooklyn's Studio G (Iggy Pop, Black Keys, Tom Waits). Producer Tony Maimone (member of Pere Ubu, bass player with Frank Black, They Might Be Giants) worked with them on these new tracks, along with renowned musicians: Joe Tomino (Dub Trio, Matisyahu) and a rap cameo from Emmy Award Winning MC Jabee (Murs, Run the Jewels, El-P).

The EP also features a re-mixed version of single "Empire Vampire" via producer Nic Hard (Taylor Swift, Joey Ramone). The band additionally created an exciting dance music video for this song, which premiered on Huffington Post, in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil members and Close Up Experience Prod.
